The Sky’s The Limit!

People are always complaining that there’s nothing on TV. What are you talking about?
The people who say there’s nothing on are obviously the people without Sky Digital.
The re-runs, the movies, the music channels… I find it literally impossible to struggle to find something to watch, and that’s without looking in my Sky Planner or watching something on Sky Anytime.
In an effort to prove just how fantastic Sky Digital is I’ve come up with a list of back to back viewing, I’ll be kicking off at 8am on Thursday and providing you with 18 hours of top notch TV – I could have gone on far longer but I reckon you’ll probably need a wee by then…

Here we go…

08:00am Thursday – 01:30am Friday

08:00 – 09:00 Casualty, UKTV Gold (109)
Sweet Revenge: Casualty re-runs, score! Casualty is amazing, re-runs are even better.
We’re right in the middle of the Pete/Bex rape story line, and today the trial starts. Claire finds out Pete may have raped before, but will she tell anyone?

09:00 – 10:00 Hang Time, Trouble (177)
Team Captain & Sexual Harassment: Oh. Wow. Hang Time! If you fancy a blast for the past you have to watch this Hang Time double bill about a high school basketball team.
Today’s episodes feature the departure of Josh and Julie trying to replace him as team captain and then in the next episode Mary Beth faces problems at her new job.

10:00 – 10:20 Top 25 Novelty No 1s, The Hits (350)
We’re half way through the count down now but everyone knows the best tracks are in the middle.
Tune in for a small dose of cheese. Too much cheese is bad for you.

10:20 – 12-00 So I Married An Axe Murderer, Sky Mdn Greats (309)
(1993) Mike Myers at his finest. This film stars Myers as a commitment-phobe who begins to suspect his ‘perfect’ fiancée may be an infamous black widow serial killer.

12:00 – 13:00 Cribs, MTV® (161)
Just ‘cause we’re nosey.

13:00 – 13:30 High School Musical: All The Hits, TMF (348)
If you say you don’t like HSM you’re lying. All the hits wrapped up in one TMF hour long special, enough time to perv over Zac Efron and have a bit of a dance.

13:30 – 14:00 The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody, Disney Channel (609)
Rumours: Like OMFG, totally fed up with being mistaken for Zack (cause they’re twins right) Cody adopts a gangster look. We know right? Compelling stuff.

14:00 – 14:30 Bewitched, Living (112)
Vintage nose twitching magic, literally. Today Endora decides to teach Darrin a lesson (doesn’t she always?) for being cheap.

14:30 – 15:30 The Jeremy Kyle Show, ITV2 (118)
“My chav boyfriend is having a chav affair with my chav mum and I’m chav pregnant but I don’t know who the chav father is. Chav.” Need we say more?

15:30 – 16:00 Dog The Bounty Hunter, Bravo +1 (124)
Do Unto Others: “Reality” show about a family of bounty hunters. Bad hair and big boobies.

16:00 – 18:00 Groundhog Day, Sky Mdn Greats (309)
Bill Murray is the grumpy weather man living the same day over and over again. Five star comedy.

18:00 – 19:00 The X Files, Virgin +1 (122)
Totally rubbish sci-fi TV series with totally fit David Duchovny, so all is forgiven.

19:00 – 19:30 Pimp My Ride, MTV ® (161)
Xzibit and the team pimp a 2005 Toyota 4Runner, what ever the hell that is, with internet access and an anti theft camera – our kinda car, we wonder if it’s pink… Xzibit can pimp us any day.

19:30 – 20:00 Eastenders, BBC1 (101)
Apparently a killer spider is on the loose, we want it to eat Tanya so we can run away with Jack. Well, that’s what we’d imagine a killer spider would do.

20:00 – 21:00 Gok’s Fashion Fix, Channel 4 (104)
Totally fabulous Gok reveals the secrets to true holiday glamour on a high street budget.

21:00 – 21:30 Mock The Week, BBC2 (102)
A hilarious take on the news with the hilarious Frankie Boyle and Russell Howard. Guests include Flecking favourite Ed Byrne.

21:30 – 22:00 Friends, E4+1 (137)
The One With Christmas In Tulsa: Yes, you’ve seen it before, but come on it’s Friends.

22:00 – 23:00 Sex And The City, Paramount Comedy 1 (126)
The Cold War & Splat: Probably the best thing on TV ever? In the first episode of the double bill it’s just shoes and sex, in the second episode it’s just more shoes and sex really.

23:20 – 00:00 Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Dave (111)
OK so it may not be a Mark Lamar episode but Simon Amstell is almost as funny. If you haven’t had enough Russell Howard tonight (could you ever?) he’s a guest along with Nicholas Hoult from Skins, Midge Ure and Romeo from the Magic Numbers.

00:00 – 01:00 Bingo Night Live, ITV (103)
The latest craze at Flecking, sign up online and play along with the big hunk of a man that is Anthony Crank.

01:00 – 1:30 Sexiest Latin Lovers, E! Entertainment (153)
Everyone’s gone to bed, it’s time to watch some embarrassing crap.
We have no idea what this is but it promises to “explore the mystique of Latin lovers”. Can’t wait.
