Heath Ledger’s death, mocked on YouTube
Oh. My. God.
When 10 Things I Hate About You came out in 1999 it was official, Heath Ledger was the man I was going to marry, so the appearance of a Youtube video taking the piss out of his death has shocked me.
Not only did his death come as a total shock, but even more shocking than that the usual text jokes that do the rounds never made it to my Sidekick. Something I was very thankful about.
That all changed this morning when I was linked to a video mocking his death.
I’m one of those people who believes that if it’s ok to joke about one thing, then it’s ok to joke about anything, very little offends me. I can appriciate why the video is funny, but I don’t like it at all.

The video shows Batman arrive to discover The Joker laying dead surrounded by empty bottles of tablets, his first reaction is that this is obviously a joke. Yeaaah I get it, but is it really that funny? Heath’s death was so tragic, it’s going to take something a lot funnier than that to make me laugh at it.
