Charlie Simpson of Fightstar/Busted fame is going to be a guest on Nick ‘Grimmy‘ Grimshaw’s Radio 1 show tomorrow from 9am. He’ll be interviewed as part of the promotion for new Fighstar single “The English Way”

I also hear that if you call Radio 1 between 7 & 10am Charlie will answer the phone. But I don’t know if this is just my mate telling me porkies to get my hopes up, then shatter my dreams. But I know what I’ll be doing tomorrow morning…

Yesterday we reported that McFly are going to be releasing the official Children In Need single. These charitable boys have now teamed up with the Andrex puppy to support the Teenage Cancer Trust (seemingly the ‘in’ charity of the moment).

Harry is particularly enthusiastic about this particular charity because one of his friends had cancer in his teens. Harry says “I’ve seen how much of a difference Teenage Cancer Trust can make to young people going through a diagnosis. Please join me in supporting this amazing charity and you’ll be helping more teenagers survive cancer.”
McFly will feature in an advert for Andrex, and are giving fans the chance to win VIP tickets and meet them backstage. So if, like Harry, you want to pledge your support to this worthwhile cause then look out for the special Andrex Winter White packs (maybe get your mum to buy one for you when she goes shopping??)

There will also be 10 giant Andrex puppies up for bids on eBay – they’ll come with a signed certificate from Tom, Danny, Dougie & Harry. But hold your horses because they won’t be available to bid on until the 3rd November. (I have to say though, that I originally read it wrong and thought they would be giant dogs signed by McFly…)
