Well would you believe it? Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross are both up for a British Comedy Award, despite all the recent Sachs controversy.

Jonathan was due to host the show, but had to pull out- this would have been his 17th year. Shame really, because he would have got an estimated £100,000 but considering his suspension, he thought it was best for all. The nomination is for Best Comedy Entertainment Programme for Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, of which Ross is currently suspended for 3 months from.

Russell Brand on the other hand, quite willingly resigned from the BBC after the phone calls, and headed over to America for a tour. It seems no one has forgotten his humour, and he’s up for Best Live Stand-Up Performer.

The 47 year old presenter is up against Harry Hill’s TV Burp (ITV1) and The Sunday Night Project (Channel 4). Russell on the other hand, is up against Alan Carr and Michael McIntyre.

The awards which are now in their 19th year are yet to announce a new presenter. Whoever it may be, just make sure you’re there watching ITV1 on Saturday December 6.

You never know, Ross and Brand might outdo all expectations and actually win it. We kind of hope they do. There’s nothing like winning a comedy award after such media uproar!

Jo O’Meara was quite happily performing alongside Bradley and Paul until someone decided to attack her with a bottle on Wednesday night at a gig in Bradford.

We had previously reported that the 3 members of hit pop act S Club 7 were reuniting to perform a few shows around the country, although we’re pretty sure this has put them off.

The female singer had to be rushed off to hospital after the attack. She collapsed to her knees and had to be helped off stage afterwards. This left her with a gaping two-inch head wound.

Bradley was less than impressed, and after the incident, he shouted out, “It takes just one idiot to ruin everybody’s night. If you are going to throw a glass, throw it at me… you had to spoil it.”

Jo is now safely back in London recovering from her ordeal, but being the trooper she is, she’s more worried about the fans, “We were all having a great time until the incident and would like to apologise to fans that our set was cut short,” she said.

A 20-year-old male is now being questioned by the police. We hope he gets charged. Violence is completely unacceptable.

As for What’s been going on with me….. Lots!!!!
Not all good, as you probably know James and me were in a court battle over the first Busted record! WE WON!!! And we should of as they were talking shit!!!
Been doing a bit of telly stuff, just to get money really, Court is well pricey!
And even though we won we cant get money out of people who don’t have any!
Still have to pay a mortgage. Man i’m well grown up now!!
Got married!!! Once again very grown up!

And also started writing songs for a new album!
Its really early days right now but i’m well stoked and super exited about it!
When thing progress i promise you’ll be the first people to know.
