Our secret spies tell us Steve’s over the shores and in LA. He’s currently working on a new album, and apparently really likes it over there. Although, is it too late? Does anyone care for their solo musical careers anymore?

If you are one of the people that don’t give a monkey’s behind, then don’t worry. We’ve seen some pretty interesting pictures of Steve’s hair on Facebook. Perhaps that LA sun got to his hair after all! Or a bottle of Sun In has helped it along. But of course, it’s all about the music.. no? (Pic on right- yet another fine example of Steven’s lovely hair..)

Hmm, what with Steve in LA, and James supposedly there too, we’re wondering if they have maybe met for lunch before getting their hair highlighted?

Or maybe not…

It seems as if the new series of I’m a Celeb might have to be called off this year. The weather is apparently terrible over there, and it’s not getting any better.

Producers may have all the control over getting Z-list celebrities into the jungle, and forcing kangeroo anus down their throat.. but it seems they can’t control the weather conditions.

The camp has been hit by torrential downpours over the last few days, and producers are now worried they will have to end the show altogether!

Celebs such as Jow Swash and Simon Webbe had to refuge in the Bush Telegraph last night as the rain poured down all over camp. However, it’s not all over. Electrical storms, strong winds and flash flooding have been predicted for the next few days.

A programme insider said, “This is the worst the weather has been for a series and plans are being made for all possible outcomes.”

But the important question is… Will everyone still get paid?!

… and I don’t come from Wales, but I do wish I’d been in this crowd!

Hundreds of music lovers gathered outside the Royal Festival Hall to watch Sir Tom sing hits including It’s Not Unusual and Green Green Grass of Home, plus his own versions of rock’n'roll classics like Jerry Lee Lewis’ hit Great Balls Of Fire.

Some women fans even chipped in with impromptu backing vocals, earning a good-natured laugh from the 68-year-old.

The crowd was so thick that security guards had to clear a way for the singer at the end of his set. One spectator even scaled a tree to get a better view, while dozens of others filmed the show on their mobile phones.

“We just happened to be walking past and I heard this singing, and I thought it sounded like Tom Jones,” said onme onlooker, June, who watched the outdoor gig with her husband Nigel. “He came across as very nice – not at all flash.”

Sir Tom, who was accompanied by an acoustic guitarist, raised more than £460 playing for Cancer Research, as part of the BBC Two Culture Show’s Busking Challenge, which sees leading acts perform in public places for charity.

Last month the singer disclosed that he had written his first love song to his wife Linda, after 51 years together. His first solo album of new material for 15 years, 24 Hours, was released this week.
