There have been some great special guests so far this year on the X Factor. We’ve seen the usual X finalists from previous years like Leon Jackson, Same Difference, Rhidian, and a performance from Leona Lewis which actually made us cry.

A few weeks ago the contestants were overcome with emotion after meeting diva extraordinaire Mariah Carey, we saw a performance from our favourite judge and her band Girls Aloud, and this week Take That were on hand to dish out some advice to the final 6.

But Dermot’s announcement of what’s to come next week nearly knocked us off our seats. Not only will kids favourite Miley Cyrus be appearing, we will witness a return to the UK for one of pops biggest megastars…. Britney Spears! Britney is set to perform an extremely provocative routine with the help of her original choreographer (and choreographer to the X Factor finalists) Brian Friedman. He said “Britney is at her raunchy best. She’s back on top of her game.” We can’t wait to see that!

Brit will be promoting new album Circus, and this is one of the promo shots. She definately looks like the Britney we know and love.
