Miley Cyrus may have been criticised for performing a raunchy dance at the Teen Choice Awards by most, but her daddy is still proud of her.

‘You know what? I just think that Miley loves entertaining people,’ he tells Access Hollywood.

‘I always tell her to love what you’re doing and stay focused for the love of the art and not worry so much about opinion.

‘I give my kids a lot of freedom to make the art they wanna make, and make it in their own voice. I think it’s important.’

VV Brown is fed up of reading about Jordan and Peter Andre’s break-up.

The couple have dominated the tabloids since they announced their separation in May.

‘They’re both annoying,’ VV tells Now Online. ‘I’m not on Team Jordan or Team Andre.

‘I think it’s disgusting the way they’re glamorising their break-up and they’re always in the papers…

‘I don’t really know what’s going on in their relationship. That’s between them. And I don’t really care.’

VV, 25, is worried that kids Harvey, 7, Junior, 4 and Princess, 2, will read about the split when they’re older.

‘I think it’s really unsophisticated and brash,’ she adds. ‘I don’t know how it’s affecting the children.’

VV is performing on the Virgin Media Union stage at this weekend’s Virgin Media V Festival at both Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.
