Good Girl Gone Mad?

As the shocking reality of Chris Brown and Rihanna’s violent relationship was leaked in court papers, you might’ve expected the pair to keep their distance.

But behind the scenes, Rihanna’s been working to get Chris’s restraining order lifted.

At a hearing last Wednesday Chris escaped jail, but was ordered to do 180 hours of community service and complete a 52-week domestic violence programme. He’s still under court orders to keep 100 yards away from Rihanna – or 10 yards if it’s a music industry event.

Referring to reports that they’d both been spotted at Trump Towers last month and at the Sofitel Hotel in Los Angeles, the judge said: ‘I’m not immune to the chatter on the airwaves.’

Court papers have revealed that the beating incident that led to Chris’s arrest wasn’t the first. Three weeks before that night on 8 February, a row in his car in Barbados ended when Chris got out of the car and punched the windows in. Before that, the pair had a fight in Europe during which Rihanna slapped Chris and he responded by throwing her against a wall.

For the first time, it was also revealed that Chris told Rihanna, after she called the police on the night before the Grammys: ‘You just did the stupidest thing ever. Now I’m really going to kill you.’
