2009 CMA Awards - Press RoomTaylor Swift made history last night at the Country Music Awards, becoming the youngest artist ever to win the coveted entertainer of the year award. The 19-year-old singer also took home awards for best female vocalist, video of the year for “Love Story” and album of the year with Fearless. “In this moment, everything that I have ever wanted just happened to me,” Swift told the audience at Nashville’s Sonnet Center after winning the evening’s biggest prize.

But before her big win, Swift had to sit through a pair of the requisite Kanye West jokes courtesy of co-hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. Swift also made light of her VMAs encounter with Kanye during one of her acceptance speeches: “And I want to thank everybody in the room tonight for not running up on the stage during my speech,” she said

Show For T4 Poll Winners' Party 2005 With Smash HitsSon Of Dork’s David Williams? Gay? Surely not.

We were as shocked as anyone to see David apparently tweet that he was finally coming out.

This message appeared on his Twitter…

“I’ve decided to tell the world I’m a proud gay man. I feel like hiding it from you, the fans, would be lying. It’s tough coming out but my friends and family have been really supportive as they have known for years. I am single at the moment and looking for a strong man.”

Hmm.

This was followed by a tweet of acceptance by Matt Willis, “I’m so proud of my friend @imdavidwilliams RESPECT!!!”

Ahh, so that’s who is behind the prank.

David tweeted minutes later, ‘Big thanks to @wtoconnor & @mattjwillis for hacking my account! Bastards!!!!’

So there you have it, David ISN’T gay and Matt Willis is in a lot of trouble.

The Q Awards 2009 - ArrivalsIf there’s one thing we love about Stereophonics’ Kelly Jones, it’s how genuinely and effortlessly hilarious he is.

Did anyone see the band perform on the National Lottery last night?

Host Myleene Klass was asking the band a few questions about their new album before the big draw and the band were being unusually quiet, so Myleene pushed them for an answer to the question “What can we expect from the new album?” – Kelly’s answer was “sexual explosions”.

Everyone on set went into a bit of a panic, apart from the band obviously, who were giggling like school kids.

After the draw Myleene had to issue an apology, in case anyone was offended by the comment.

This happened way after the watershed, so no harm done. It certainly brightened up our night.

Zac Efron has revealed that he wore a pair of denim jeans for eight continuous weeks in order to get it rugged and dirty for his film ‘High School Musical 3.’

The actor said that the pants ultimately lost its stiffness and developed “yellow whiskers” at the front. Ew.

“I wore them all throughout High School Musical 3. I even wore them hiking. You have to wear them everywhere to get them right,” Us magazine quoted him as telling WWD.
