It was all light on the night in Basildon as former boyband member Matt Willis flicked the switch to turn on the town’s festive lights.
Thousands of revellers headed to St Martin’s Square, to watch the former Busted guitarist and 2006 I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here winner switch on Basildon’s festive illuminations.
The 26-year-old musician turned TV presenter, didn’t show any signs of wilting, despite being involved in a crash two days ago while riding his bike in London.
