Robbie’s mum confirms engagement…
Boo-hoo! Robbie Williams’ mum has confirmed that he is engaged to his girlfriend Ayda Field.
Robbie popped the question to Ayda live on Australian radio station 2day FM.
Robbie’s spokesman denied that the pair were engaged, however Rob’s mum Jan has told how she knew that he was going to propose ‘a week ago’.
‘I’m very excited,’ she told BBC Radio 5 Live. ‘I’m really pleased.
‘They’ve been together for nearly three years, so it’s about time.
‘She’s a great mate, as well as a lover. She’s got all the qualities that he needs in a girl. It’s a lovely match.’
