Slipknot Bassist Paul Gray Autopsy: no sign of foul play
According to reports, medical examiners have found no sign of foul play or significant trauma during the autopsy of Paul Gray, which we understand took place yesterday.
The autopsy did show that Gray had been dead for several hours before his body was discovered by hotel staff. The cause of death is still under investigation and will not be determined until toxicology results are available, which could take up to six weeks.
Witnesses have reported items from the hotel room were taken away by police for examination.
The sad news of Paul’s death shocked us all, as tributes flooded in we saw his band mates pay him an emotional tribute. Once again our thoughts go out to his wife, band mates and fans.
