Jonathan Ross is reportedly planning to take his weekly chatshow to ITV.

According to The Guardian, Jonathan is expected to sign a non-exclusive deal with the TV channel. The news comes after the announcement that he will leave the BBC in July.

ITV is preparing to revamp the format of Ross’s show and is hoping to begin airing it in 2011, either on Fridays or after The X Factor on Saturdays.

Ross was previously in negotiations with Channel 4, but the talks broke down ahead of the arrival of the broadcaster’s new chief executive, David Abraham.

Even though we’re still guessing about ITV, he has already been confirmed as the host of the British Comedy Awards and is expected to appear on The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year.

ITV declined to comment on the reports.
