X Factor hopeful Cher Lloyd is being backed by British singer Pixie Lott to win this year’s competition.

Cher, who’s in Cheryl Cole’s group for the judges’ house round, has received praise from a number of celebs for her performances so far on the reality TV show.

She impressed mentor Chezza with her rendition of Soulja Boy’s Turn My Swag On in the auditions, then pleased some of the X Factor judges with her version of Viva La Vida by Coldplay at bootcamp.

Keri Hilson and Holly Willoughby have both backed Cher to win and now, Mama Do singer Pixie’s joining in the praise.

The 19-year-old singer, who appeared as a guest judge on the show over the summer, said: ‘Cher was wicked, wasn’t she?’

She told X Magazine the 17-year-old’s performance was ‘so cool and unique’, adding: ‘I think she could win the show.’

Cher’s not had the best of luck since first appearing on this year’s X Factor.

During bootcamp, she was plagued by a sore throat and concerns have been raised about her wellbeing after she was snapped looking more frail than usual.

Last weekend, the uncle of the young wannabe died suddenly, reportedly leaving her devastated.
