Johnny Knoxville has urged Jackass fans not to copy their crazy stunts.

“When we say don’t try this stuff at home, we mean it,” says Johnny. “Luckily we haven’t had too many incidents of people trying it.”

“Even with me it’s an issue. Everyone in my family loves Jackass but they hate me doing the stunts. I wouldn’t want my kids doing them so I understand the concern.”

Johnny recently admitted that he only does stupid and dangerous stunts to get good footage for the show.

“Hell no,” Knoxville told Vanity Fair when asked if he wants to die. “I just want to get good footage.”

“Suffering will get you great footage. I don’t know about closer to God. Although there have been times when I’ve suffered to the point where I think I might be about to meet him.”

“We’re in the emergency room a lot. I have a whole slew of doctors. I can count eight in my phone right now—eight different doctors, all for different parts of my body. I have specialists.”
