Louis Walsh thinks that Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle is going to need help to make it as a solo artist.

The X Factor judge thinks that Nadine needs a big record label backing her (Nadine released her music with Tesco) or to stick with the hit girlband.

“It’s going to be very hard for her to cut it as a solo star,” he told Star magazine.

“She needs to get a really big record producer or manager behind her, or it doesn’t matter if she’s written the greatest songs on the planet because not enough people will be exposed to them.”

“I’ve always said she’s a great singer but she needs to be in the band” but admits “I’m not sure if they’ll get back together.” he added.

Last week Nadine admitted that she couldn’t compete with band mate Cheryl Cole, saying: “she has all the power of the X Factor and Simon Cowell behind her”.

Nadine’s single Insatiable charted at number 26, and her album of the same name at 47.
