Paramore are planning on taking a year off.

According to Kerrang, the band are taking time off to work on their next album, after a very successful 2010.

“There’s been so many [highlights] this year,” front woman Hayley Williams told MTV news. “We got to play the VMAs, we went on the biggest US tour we’ve done to date, we played two shows at the O2 Arena in London. It’s just been one thing after another. It’s been this high climb and I hope we get to keep climbing for a little bit longer.”

When asked about the band’s plans for the year ahead, guitars Josh Farro said:

“We’re going on a tour in South America and then we’re taking time off and we’re writing for a new record.”

“We like to [write] at home mostly,” added Williams. “We like to wait and kind of really focus on the records when we have time off.”
