Best buddies Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez don’t go on double dates.

It’s not because they don’t want to, it has more to do with the fact that they’re no in relationships at the same time.

“We have yet to do that and it really bothers us. It does,” Selena said.

“It’s so funny. It’s either one way or the other. She’ll have someone or I won’t or I will and she won’t. We’re never quite there.”

Despite their fame, they still do all the other things that best friends do.

“We go to the movies, go get yogurt, go to dinner, hang out and go to the mall,” she said.

“It doesn’t really stop us. We’re very appreciative of our fans and will stop and take pictures.”

Taylor recently spoke about her “great friendship” with Selena.

“We talked for two hours on the phone last night because we haven’t been able to talk for like, two weeks.

“We’ve both been so busy so there was a lot of catching up. There was advice given and asked for on both of our ends. I think we both really value the fact that we can be honest with each other.

“I’d definitely say we have a sister relationship. I’ve never had a sister but I think if I did and I had this sweet, perfect younger sister, it would be Selena. I feel like she’s my age though, I forget she’s 18!”
