Adam Lambert talks personal, powerful new album

Adam Lambert has dished more details on his eagerly awaited second album.

Lambert is aiming to make the follow-up to For Your Entertainment more personal.

Speaking with MTV News at the season-three premiere of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in Los Angeles, the “American Idol” runner-up dished a few details about the LP.

“I’m in talks, so it’s all kind of being conceptualized right now, and what we’re hoping for is maybe by the fall,” Lambert said of the project’s progression.

“So, I’m going to take my time and really write the most personal songs, the most powerful songs. I really want it to be something that’s really honest and real.”

“Look for my album this fall, a single probably about late summer,” Adam told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the same event.

“I’m starting to talk to some writers and come up with some ideas and I’ll be writing a lot of it myself. It’s going to be very pop, very rock, maybe even a little dark.”
