Peter Andre has spoken out about his poor health in 2010.

The singer is now feeling much better after being admitted to hospital in November for an emergency kidney stone operation.

“It’s been a weird end to the year,” Pete told Now. “I’m a 37-year-old guy. I should be fit and healthy.”

Pete had no idea why he was feeling ill, and admitted that people around him suspected his “constant agony and pain” may have been in his mind.

“Everyone thought I was a hypochondriac,” he admitted. “I was told to rest but I was about to start the biggest tour of my life.”
