Antony Costa apologises for potentially pissing up Eurovision chances

Antony Costa has said sorry for pissing up a cash machine.

Some sites were speculating that BBC bosses might have a rethink about letting Antony, and his band Blue, represent us in the Eurovision Song Contest, but he’s said sorry now, so it’s fine.

The Mirror published a photo of the Blueww having a wee at the cash point near Trafalgar Square – only 30 yards from a public toilet.

“I was so mortified when I saw the pictures,” he told the Daily Mirror.

“No one wants to be seen like that.”

“I was on a night out, got a bit drunk and did something stupid.”

“It’s a mistake I’m not proud of and I am so, so sorry to anyone I have offended.”

The person he should be apologising to is George Iatrou, manager of the Post Office where the cash point is situated.

“We clean the machines every day but what he has done is disgusting.” he told the Sunday Mirror.

Yuck!
