Adam Lambert loves Moulin Rouge!

Adam Lambert is just like us – he loves post-modern masterpiece Moulin Rouge.

The flick, which was released back in 2001, was celebrated by “Moulin Rouge at 10: A Spectacular Spectacular MTV News Event.”

Flecking fave Adam told MTV exactly why he loves the musical.

“I remember just loving it. I thought it was novel. First of all, movie musicals were just starting to come back and I thought it was really interesting to have a movie musical using already existing pop music,” he explained.

“That’s kind of an amazing collaboration. Usually it’s all original music or it’s based on a Broadway musical, but this was using songs that we all know and tying them into the story. I thought it was really groundbreaking.”

The film starred Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor and John Leguizamo to name a few.
