Jonas ‘Basshunter’ Altberg cleared of sexual assault

Jonas Altberg has been cleared of sexually assaulting two female fans.

The Basshunter DJ was in Scotland when he was accused of grabbing the women by their hair and forcing their
heads towards his groin.

It was also alleged he pulled up one woman’s dress and slapped her, however his name has now been cleared.

Sheriff Maxwell Hendry aquitted Jonas on both charges, ruling: “I consider in this case the witnesses were neither credible nor reliable.”

“This has never happened in 1000 shows,” Basshunter told the court.

“I do this five days a week and meet 300,000 people every year and there has never been a complaint about my behaviour.

“I can’t remember these girls or really anything from that night because it was a perfect night.”
