Demi Lovato’s on-screen mum is proud of her

Aww! Demi Lovato’s on-screen mum is proud of her for seeking help with her issues.

Maria Canals-Barrera, who plays Demi’s mum in Camp Rock, is glad Demi sought the support she needed.

“Demi went through some stuff, you know I played her mom on Camp Rock, I’m just so proud of her for getting the help that she needs,” Maria told Hollywoodlife.com.

Maria also plays mum to Demi’s pal Selena Gomez, in Wizards of Waverly Place, and says her screen kids get on well with her real children.
