Drew Barrymore talks directing

Drew Barrymore says she has always wanted to be a director.

The actress recently directed Best Coast’s music video for Our Deal, and says it’s something she’s wanted to do since she was a kid.

“After 35 years of working I was like, ‘Shall I take the gold watch for retirement or shall I and live out the dream I have had since I was a kid?” says Drew.

“I’ve always wanted to be a director and it’s so wonderful to be working towards those dreams.”
