For those of you who don’t know, tinnitus is a ringing on your ears that only you can hear.

Speaking before a gig at Liverpool’s Radio City Live, he said: “I am going slightly deaf in my right ear. It’s tinnitus… something like that.

“All our fans are always very loud, especially Scousers.”

Apparently the boys are going to have to start protecting their ears from their adoring fans from now on.
