Linlithgow Palace to host music festival

Top Scottish bands Deacon Blue and Simple Minds are set to headline a brand new weekend music festival in Linlithgow this summer.

Party at the Palace will take place at Linlithgow Peel on Saturday 9th August. The two-day event, which aims to celebrate popular Scottish music, is expected to attract around 7,500 fans each day.

The family-friendly event will feature performances from The View, Frightened Rabbit, Hue and Cry, James Grant, Horse and The Bluebells, among others. Local bars, including The Old Post Office and The Four Mary’s, will also be selling drinks onsite whilst there will also be a range of market stalls and children’s entertainers.

Earlier this month, organisers announced plans to offer VIP ticket upgrades for those looking for a more luxurious festival experience. VIP tickets cost £99 per day and include, among other benefits, entry to the Rocco VIP Marquee (with complimentary canapés and a glass of Rocco Prosecco on arrival),
private toilet facilities, a souvenir programme and fast track entry to the site.
