The Menzingers announce UK & European tour dates

The Menzingers have announced an extensive UK and European tour, which is set to kick off on 28th January 2018. The tour will comprise 19 dates across the continent, including a show at o2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London on 3rd February, which will be their biggest headliner so far on these shores. Grant & I – Inside and Outside The Go-Betweens by Robert Forster

Robert Forster met Grant McLennan at the University of Queensland, Australia in the mid 1970s as two undergrads with a shared passion for music, film, poetry and pop culture, and a reputation for duelling sword fights across city traffic. After a bizarre audition and early rehearsals into a cassette player, they formed The Go-Betweens in 1978, and created a strand of Bohemian Pop Music full of literary allusions and local references that stood out amidst the exploding local punk rock scene at the time. Culture Abuse are heading to the UK

San Francisco Bay Area-band Culture Abuse are heading to the UK this month for a full UK tour and festival appearances. Watch their video for debut Epitaph Records single, “So Busted” – a summer anthem about “all the stuff you are told you need in life but when it all boils down all you really want is to feel loved and cared for” according to frontman David Kelling. To cap off a summer that’s already seen Muncie Girls tour Australia, play Glastonbury Festival, 2000trees and more, the Exeter trio are gearing up to round off the season with performances at Reading & Leeds Festivals and Bingley Live. Cold War Kids unveil new video

US Indie legends, Cold War Kids have released a brand new video for their recent single “So Tied Up”, featuring the up-and-coming UK singer/songwriter Bishop Briggs. The tracks a stomping, gospel-infused number that shines a light on everyday struggle (“Love is a twisted game and no one ever wins”) but undeniably burns with the promise of hope. The video is about the tension and struggle of relationships.
