The greatest celebrity football event in the world will return to Chelsea FC’s Stamford Bridge on Sunday 24 May (Bank holiday weekend WHOOP!)

In true Soccer Six style the organisers have already promised us that JLS, The View, Babyshambles, The Hoosiers, Ben Adams, X Factor’s Austin Drage and NDUBZ will compete against each other to be crowned Soccer Six Champions 2009.
As if that wasn’t enough excitement they have also promised that many many more huge names are going be announced over the coming days and weeks!! WOW!

There is a very limited capacity at this event and all tickets must be purchased in advance. Don’t risk missing out on what will be the best celebrity event of 2009, grab your tickets now to avoid disappointment.

Thought you’d heard the last tabloid tales of 2008’s X Factor contestants? Well you were wrong.
Whilst Alexandra Burke has signed a £3 million US recording contract, her personal life doesn’t seem to be going quite so happily. Alexandra is said to be fearful of her ex boyfriend Russell Broooks after he found out she’d been spending time with Ben from A1.

A source told the News of the World that “Alex had been talking to Russell on the phone. When she told him she’d been hanging out with Ben, he lost it.” He turned up at her house, and according to a neighbour “there was loads of thumping and yelling. He was saying things like, ‘what the hell are you doing in there, Ben?’ and ‘I’m going to smash your f**king car’.

There’s also drama in the JLS camp. The ex girlfriend of Astin from the band has told the News of the World (serial gossip mongers) that the reason for their split was his obsession with former girlfriend Louisa Lytton aka Ruby Allen from Eastenders.

Serious stuff, and we wonder if more stories of this nature will surface when Alex and JLS have songs to promote?

With the final of Celeb BB coming up tomorrow, we’ve been bombarded with random snippets of Big Brother goss.

Starting with Michelle, who – according to her ex Andy Scott Lee – behaved “like a slag” and “a liar” whilst they were married, and she “ripped his heart out”. He spoke these words to Heat magazine, and we cant help but think it sounds pretty harsh, we thought Michelle seemed quite nice (although slightly untalented, and did a very good impression of tiny tears.)

La Toya has revealed that her sister Janet Jackson was an avid viewer of the show, she told George Lamb on Celeb BB’s Little Brother “Janet’s been watching every show”. Whilst Lil Chris also told George Lamb (on a separate occasion we’re sure) that he quite fancies La Toya, as she has “a nice arse”. Thanks for that insight Chris!
We’ve now shifted our opinion of Coolio slightly after he cried whilst watching the inaugoration of Barack O’Bama on the Big Brother tv. In the Diary Room afterwards he even said he’d “take a bullet” for the new president. Blimey, that is some emotion!
Whereas Ben from A1 is doing his profile no such favours by telling his fellow housemates he was too posh to be an RnB singer. He said of his record label “They put me on stage with all these black dancers and I’d think, ‘This is wrong. I’m from Hampshire.” Nice one Ben. I lived in Hampshie for 12 years, please don’t tar us all with the same brush!

And aside from this, did anyone realise that Celeb BB’s Little Brother presenter George Lamb was the son of Gavin & Stacey/Eastenders star Larry Lamb? Just thought I share that random piece of information. You’re welcome!

Whether or not you give two flying shoots about CBB, you always know the house is going to be pure entertainment. Sticking wannabe celebs in a house together and watch them fight about who is more famous? Brilliant TV!

And so this year is going to be no different. However, we’ve got a feeling it’s not all about being on TV. It’s also about the money these people will be receiving for being on the show. Read below, and we’re sure you will be as surprised as we were!

£20,000 – Ben Adams (Was in one of our favourite boybands… A1!)

£30,000 – Coolio (Real name Artis Leon Ivey Jr. Remember the song, ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ from the film Dangerous Minds? That was him!)

£30,000 – Tina Malone (Plays Mimi in Shameless)

£50,000 to £75,000 – Mutya Buena (Used to be in girlband, Sugababes)

£50,000 to £75,000 – Terry Christian (Presents a weekend show on BBC Radio Manchester)

£60,000 – Michelle Heaton (Was in Liberty X)

£100,000 – La Toya Jackson (Michael Jackson’s sister)

£150,000 – Lucy Pinder (Some glamour model)

£136,000 – Verne Troyer (Played Mini-Me in Austin Powers)

£175,000 – Ulrika Jonsson (Y’know the lady who had a relationship with Sven Goran Eriksson…and another child)

Fee not revealed – Tommy Sheridan (Controversial Scottish socialist politician)

Fee not revealed – Steve Strange (New Romantics singer)

It’s ok Ben Adams, if it was our show, we’d give you millions!

Celebrity Big Brother starts tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm.
