Brand too busy to be a pirate?!

We announced a little while ago that Russell Brand may be offered a part in the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie starring alongside Johnny Depp. However it turns out that Russell is a tad busy this year!

He tells Access Hollywood, “There’s been some talk of doing a Pirates movie. But, I’ve got eight other things to do including (new movie) Get Him To The Greek with Judd Apatow… So I don’t know if there’ll be time to be a pirate, I’ve got enough of that in me private life.

“I think it’s a possibility (but) I am rather busy.”

What could be more important than being in a film with Johnny Depp?? I can’t think of anything. Dump the rest Mr Brand, you need to be a proper pirate.
