Lee Ryan was almost knocked over by a bus on Wednesday.
Fortunately, his brave Blue bandmate Simon Webbe was able to swoop in and rescue him.
The incident happened when Simon, 31, was dropping Lee, 26, and their manager Sara Freeman at London’s Paddington station.
They were saying their goodbyes when the No7 bus came hurtling towards his BMW.
Simon – whose daughter Alanah, 12, was in the back – pushed them out of the way before the double decker wrecked the car’s sidedoor.
‘Simon was quick off the mark,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘He threw Lee and Sara out of harm’s way, just before the bus smashed into the car’s open door and ripped it clean off its hinges.’
The band’s spokesman confirms: ‘Lee would have almost certainly been mowed down by the bus if Simon hadn’t acted so quickly.’
