Simon Cowell slams RATM campaign

Pop mogul, Simon Cowell, arrives at Fountain Studios ahead of Saturday night's live X Factor showSimon Cowell isn’t too chuffed about the ever increasing number of Facebookers trying to prevent the X Factor winner bagging a Christmas number one by getting Rage Against The Machine’s track Killing In The Name the spot instead.

Cowell told The Sun “It’s stupid – a cynical campaign aimed at me which is going to spoil the party.”

“It’s incredibly dismissive of people who watch and enjoy the show.”

“It treats them as if they are stupid.”

Simon says (LOL) that the campaign won’t affect him the most – the person who will really suffer is the winner of the show. Simon believes the campaign is ruining their opportunity to get a number one.

With the Facebook group growing in size by the day, it will be interesting to see who bags the number one spot.
