Pete Doherty arrested!

The Babyshambles singer was arrested earlier on today over suspicion of supplying the drugs that killed his friend Robin Whitehead.

In January, the heiress died of a suspected drug overdose in her flat in East London. Before this, there had been footage taken of her, Doherty and others taking all sorts of drugs at the flat. According to reports, Pete left the property before she died, and went back to his Wiltshire home, leaving behind him a load of drugs.

Although a lot of people have been arrested over her death, it seems that the police are very interested in Doherty’s part in this terrible story. A source said: “Pete’s adamant he played no part in Robin’s death. He is still very distressed.”
