It’s going to be one to remember girls! Robbie Williams is once again going to captain a team all in the name of charity (mate)!
The star has said “It will be a great time for football, with World Cup fever at boiling point.” He is, of course, right!
With stars such as Gavin & Stacey’s James Corden (Robbie’s assistant manager!) , Jonny Wilkes (Robbie’s best mate!), Gordon Ramsay, Ricky Hatton, Patrick Kielty, Ben Shephard, Bradley Walsh and members of Westlife (to name a few) all taking to the pitch to raise cash for Unicef ITV’s Soccer Aid charity match is set to be the biggest, best one yet.
Captain Robbie, Unicef’s UK ambassador, said: “I am so excited Soccer Aid is back. It will be a great time for football, with World Cup fever at boiling point,”
They will be joined by football legends Alan Shearer, David Seaman and Tony Adams.
The event is being hosted by premiership club Manchester United and will be screened Live on ITV on June 6th with the lovely Dermot O’Leary hosting.
