Amy Winehouse rescued by fan
Poor old Amy Winehouse needed rescuing by a fan after a punter in her local got a little too friendly.
We reported yesterday that Russell Brand is not going to invite his dad to his upcoming wedding. We may have found another reason why…. it seems the man in question wasn’t any normal boozed-up punter, oh no! It was Russell Brand’s dad Ronnie!!
Ron bumped into Amy at the Hawley Arms in Camden recently but it seems he had one too many and as Amy mingled with her mates, Ron tried to get intimate with her, resulting in a fan intervening!!
A fellow boozer said: “Ronnie was being really loud and reminding everyone that he was Russell’s dad. He seemed drunk and everyone there was getting fed up with him……He kept saying: ‘Russell’s gone global now’ and ‘I have £20m to invest in the music business.’ Then he started bothering Amy and kept putting his arm around her shoulder. A blonde who was standing nearby took offence. She pushed Ronnie’s head against a wall and was slapping him while shouting: ‘Who are you?’…She looked really angry and Ronnie just sort of cowered away.”
Luckily for Ronnie it seems Amy found it as funny as we do and is reported to have been in fits of laughter as it all happened. Even so, best stick the the orange juice for a while eh, Ron!
