Cheryl Cole doesn’t criticise her own appearance

de Grisogono Party - Cocktail Party: 63rd Cannes Film FestivalCheryl Cole won’t criticise her looks.

The ‘Fight for This Love’ hitmaker – who is the new face of L’Oreal Elnett hairspray – claims she doesn’t doubt her looks because so many other people do.

She said: “I’m not critical, other people criticise me a lot, so I let them do that.

“I am what I am now. I’m at that point where I hate when other women pull themselves apart. I just want other women to feel good about themselves. That 100 per cent comes with age.

“It’s hard to look at yourself as a teenager. I just don’t think negatively now.”

The Girls Aloud beauty also admits she prefers watching TV and eating biscuits to a session down the gym, and maintains a toned physique through dancing.

She told Stylist magazine: “I love dancing. And I do full-on performances, so it’s like a workout. I wish I could say I went to the gym and bashed it all out, but it’s more like eating Hobnobs in front of the TV.”

Cheryl, 26, has previously revealed she would not have Botox to rid herself of wrinkles and wants to embrace the ageing process.

She said: “I try not to worry. I’ve got a few older friends and I always hear them going, ‘How old? 26? Ah, you’re a baby’, and I’m kind of like, ‘Maybe I should embrace it and not worry about looking old’. It scares me when I think that someone women have Botox at 25.”
