Lady Gaga: ‘I’d rather die onstage with all my fans’

U.S. singer Lady Gaga poses as she receives four platinum record awards and three ECHO awards in BerlinLady Gaga touched upon a pretty morbid subject during a gig in Stockholm – her death.

After announcing yet more gigs (Gaga’s Monster Ball tour will carry on into 2011) people are growing increasingly worried that Lady Gaga may be pushing herself too far.

During the show in Stockholm, Gaga addressed the rumours that she was exhausted.

Gaga said: “You know when people say, ‘Lady Gaga’s really tired, she needs to take a break,’ I just think about all those times I sang in bars when nobody was singing my lyrics. I’ll sleep when I’m dead, OK?”

After several minutes, Gaga carried on with the sensitive subject.

“I know that I work really hard and I run myself into the ground, and I also know that alcohol will kill me one day. But I would rather not die on vacation, I’d rather die onstage with all my fans.”
