Orlando Bloom to star in Musketeers film

AFI & Walt Disney Pictures' A Cinematic Celebration Of Jerry Bruckheimer Orlando Bloom has signed up for new 3-D film ‘The Three Muskateers’.

The 33-year-old actor and British funnyman James Corden are the two most recent additions to Paul W.S. Anderson’s upcoming blockbuster – which will see Orlando portray the Duke of Buckingham and James play the comedic role of a servant called Planchet.

The pair will star alongside Christoph Waltz – who will play Cardinal Richelieu – Logan Lerman as D’Artagnan, and Matthew MacFadyen, Ray Stevenson and Luke Evans as the famous trio Athos, Porthos and Aramis.

Milla Jovovich will play the lead female role as M’lady De Winter.

According to Variety, the movie – which is based on the 1844 Alexandre Dumas novel – is due for release next year.

Anderson will also produce the movie, along with Impact’s Jeremy Bolt and Constantin’s Robert Kulzer – who will distribute the movie in Germany.
