The beautiful boys have announced details of their new single, and it’s certainly different.
JLS are apparently “really proud” of their track which is based on The Sound of Music. The Sun reported that the song ‘The Club Is Alive’ is a “radical reinterpretation” of ‘The Hills Are Alive’, as originally sung by Julie Andrew’s.
A source told The Sun, “They’ve worked hard on the song and are really proud of it. They know it will surprise a lot of people, but they think it’s a risk well worth taking. JLS have taken one of the most well-known pieces of music of the last century and stamped their mark on it.
“It’s quite a radical reinterpretation, but it really works. The verses don’t stick too closely to the original, but the chorus certainly owes it a debt.”
Hmm, certainly sounds interesting! We can’t wait to hear it when it’s released on July 4th.
