‘I Gotta Feeling’ to be first million-selling download

Black Eyed Peas’ smash hit track I Gotta Feeling is set to become the first ever million-selling downloaded single in Britain.

According to the Official Charts Company, the song which was produced by DJ David Guetta, is expected to pass the 1 million mark by the end of this week. As if that isn’t enough, they have sold over 3.3 million downloads making them the most downloaded group in UK history.

BEP leading lady Fergie said of the news: ”It’s exhilarating to know we are so connected to our Peabodies. Hopefully the good vibes from that song will continue to brighten people’s lives.”

A spokesperson from the Official Charts Company stated: “Black Eyed Peas will forever be able to state that they scored the UK’s first million-selling download and I Gotta Feeling is now firmly established as one of the defining tunes of our time,”

Will.I.Am and his band mates have become one of the most successful groups of all time and have sold 35 million albums and 41 million singles worldwide.
