Ozzy Osbourne wants an unsigned band to open for him at the iTunes festival.

The Prince Of Darkness has teamed up with social network website MySpace, to give one up-and-coming act the opportunity of a lifetime. The ‘winning’ band will support him at London’s Roundhouse on July 3 as Ozzy returns with his new album Scream, out on June 21.

Ozzy said: “Throughout my career I’ve felt this obligation to give up-and-coming bands a leg up in the music business. I’ve taken out bands from Motley Crue to Metallica to System Of A Down and Slipknot on their first big tours. I’m looking to give a new band a huge f***ing break by having them open the show.
