Gwyneth Paltrow plans country album

Gwyneth Paltrow is about to step on her husband Chris Martin’s toes by launching a career as a country singer.

The actress is reportedly planning to release an album after starring as a singer in her new film Country Strong.

Paltrow, 37, is said to have recorded the title track for the film and movie bosses want to release it as a single on August 23.

This sets things up nicely for a Paltrow versus Coldplay chart battle.
