JLS star Oritse Williams revealed he is pining for a Scottish girlfriend.

The baby-faced pop star admitted that, despite the adoration of the band’s fans, he had lucked out in love and was finding it difficult living on his own.

Oritse now hopes he can find a girl when he heads to Scotland for JLS dates at Hamilton Park Racecourse on July 23 and at Bauer’s massive In: Demand Live event at Glasgow’s SECC on July 31.

He said: “I live by myself and it gets lonely. It would be nice to have a lady with me.

“All I do in the at is play music, sing loud and dance around. I don’t have a girlfriend. I’m still looking and, obviously, I am messing up somewhere.

“When I come to Scotland, I am going to be looking for a Scottish girl. I love the Scottish accent and the girls are especially cute. I love it when the girls speak. It’s amazing.

“One of the things we love doing is going out and getting on stage in front of our fans. at’s where we come alive. We can’t wait to come to Scotland. I love my Scottish fans.”

Oritse says he deals with his loneliness through social networking. He claims to be addicted to Twitter and also spends a lot of time on Facebook and BlackBerry Messenger.

JLS were rumoured to be in line to perform at Jordan’s blessing of her marriage to husband Alex Reid at the couple’s home today – but Oritse said he had not been told whether they were expected to sing.

He said: “I have no idea about that, but if we are then great. We’ll see. I would be up for that.

“Jordan is a great girl. I met her at Keep A Child Alive, which is the charity Alicia Keys is an ambassador of. We had a good conversation. She is great and Alex is great, too.”
