Professor Green has stuck up for his pal Lily Allen, insisting that people should stop slating the singer…especially chat show host Alan Carr.

The Just Be Good To Green MC, who collaborates with Lily on the top 5 track has claimed that Carr was unfair for ‘slagging off’ Allen after she cancelled an appearance on his show due to her recent ill-health.

Professor, real name Stephen Manderson told the Daily Star: “Alan Carr didn’t have the right to slag her off. I understand him being pissed off because she cancelled his show, but her health is much more important than his show.”

He added that he would miss Lily when she decides to retire from the music industry claiming: “I will definitely miss Lily on the scene. She’ll be missed by everyone, even those people who said horrible things about her.”

While Green may miss Lily, the rapper also revealed that he is looking for his ideal girl after dismissing reports that he is dating Turn It Up singer Pixie Lott.

“I’m still looking for the perfect woman. A woman with imperfections. Imperfections help. It’s those things that make people real. Just a real girl with a good heart,”

Ladies, before you get all excited the 26-year old also claimed that any potential girlfriend must understand that his career comes first.

Green added: “She’d have to be extremely understanding, which is what I’m having a problem with at the moment. My lifestyle is hectic. I’m not about much so I need to find a girl who is as busy as I am.”
