Adam Lambert is full of praise for Freddie Mercury.

NPR.org have posted an article on the late, great Queen singer, which included quotes from Adam.

Adam, who auditioned for American Idol with Bohemian Rhapsody, spent hours listening to Queen, and trying to work out Freddie’s secret.

Speaking about Mercury’s voice, Adam said: “It’s supersexy,”

“Freddie’s voice has so much texture to it,”

“He kind of grabs at everything, he squeezes it.”

“He was completely over the top in the best possible way,” said Lambert.

“Music, most of the time, is about sexuality, whether you are straight, gay or in between. It’s about love and sex. That’s rock ‘n’ roll.”

“The spirit of Freddie Mercury is alive and well,” Adam added. “He made it rock.”
