Ali Paul has made the decision to leave Elliot Minor.

After much consideration Ali has made the decision to leave the band after their tour in September.

He posted the following statement to the bands MySpace.

“I’d like to start by thanking every single one of you who has ever come to an Elliot Minor show, bought an album, watched a webisode, listened to us on the radio, watched a music video or shown any kind of support for us over the past four years – you are the reason I’ve been able to experience the things I’ve experienced. I’m lucky enough to hold some great memories from the past few years and I can honestly say that since I joined the band in 2006 the time has flown by. This is tribute to both you guys but also to Dan, Ed H, Ed Minton and Alex who will, I hope, remain close friends. I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved over the past four years and I’m confident that great things still can be achieved with Elliot Minor.”

“Unfortunately however, I’ve decided that this September will be my last tour with the band. I have decided to pursue other things, not related to music, and despite being rather sad at having to make this decision I’m equally very excited to be taking on new challenges. This decision was not taken lightly though and I will certainly never take for granted what I’ve gained from my time with the band. I’d like to personally thank everyone of you at the September shows because you’ve all been a massive part of my Elliot Minor experience – your dedication and enthusiasm is incredible and I can’t thank you enough for that.”

“I’m massively looking forward to all the shows in September so to see as many of you there as possible will make it that bit more special for me.”

“Once again, thank you for making the past four years as amazing as they have been.”
