Cheryl Cole is getting an American accent?

The famous geordie is said to be getting an American twang.

According to The Sun, Cheryl has reportedly started to develop an American accent after spending time in Los Angeles.
She has amused friend (AND rumoured boyfriend) Derek Hough by picking up on several phrases and expressions popular in the US.

A source says: “Cheryl has developed a slight American accent while she’s been there but it’s still a long way off sounding like she’s not from Newcastle, Derek has been mocking her about a few phrases, and he also does a good impression of her voice now.”

It has been reported that Cheryl and Derek are keeping their romantic relationship private until her divorce from Ashley Cole has been finalised.
