Colton Haynes is glad Robert Pattinson beat him to Twilight role

Colton Haynes is glad that Robert Pattinson bagged the role of Edward Cullen in Twilight instead of him.

The 22-year-old actor spoke to popeater.com about losing out on the role.

“I definitely wouldn’t have it any other way.” he said.

“I think Rob does a great job and gosh, he doesn’t get a minute to himself.”

“There were few guys up for it. I’m sure there were like ten guys up for it. It’s not like it was down to me and him but it was definitely getting under the wire.”

He may have missed out on playing a vampire, but he now plays a werewolf in The Gates.
