Ian Somerhalder is sexier than Robert Pattinson




Ian Somerhalder beat Robert Pattinson to win the title of Sexiest Beast in Entertainment Weekly’s poll.

Ian’s role in The Vampire Diaries as Damon Salvatore bagged first place, making Edward Cullen, the character that Robert Pattinson plays in Twilight (in case you didn’t know) fall in at second place.

Around 1.5 million readers voted for their favourite beast, which included vampires, werewolves, aliens, mutants, monsters, and machines.

Characters from True Blood, Dr Who, Star Trek, Terminator and X-men were all nominated.

Before the results were announced Ian Somerhalder tweeted: “That Pattinson guy will end up kicking my butt, however thanks for taking the time, that’s really cool.”

Ian later tweeted after he learned the result saying that everyone on set of The Vampire Diaries is now calling him Sexy Beast.

We don’t blame them.
