Jennifer Aniston calls herself a retard

While promoting her new movie The Switch, Jennifer Aniston landed right in the middle of a media storm after she jokingly referred to herself as ‘a retard.’

The former Friends actress – pictured arriving at The Daily Show in New York yesterday, before heading to The Lion restaurant for dinner – was talking to Regis and Kelly about her recent Barbra Streisand photoshoot with Harper’s Bazaar magazine when she said:

“Yes, I play dress up! I do it for a living, like a retard!”

Jenn’s comment has been described as ‘extraordinarily offensive and inappropriate’ while the CEO of The Arc said, “Frankly, someone in her position ought to know better.”
